Lazan Glover & Puciloski is a law firm located principally in the Berkshires. The attorneys at LGP all previously lived and worked in large cities, but chose to move to the country for the unsurpassed quality of life. David Lazan, Peter Puciloski and Alexandra Glover founded the firm, and have been joined by attorneys James McLindon.
When we founded the firm in 2003, we were unwilling to compromise the high level of practice we had known in our city law firms, and thus made a commitment to each other and to our clients to continue to provide them with the highest level of professionalism, service and skill. A testament to our success is that LGP has achieved an AV-Preeminent peer rating from Martindale Hubbell, signifying that the attorneys at LGP possess the highest level of professional experience.
Although we are centered in the Berkshires, we handle significant matters statewide, including on the Cape and Islands. We appear regularly in the Land Court in Boston. We also handle transactional and litigation matters in Western Massachusetts for the clients of attorneys in Eastern Massachusetts.
The depth of the experience of each of our attorneys, and our commitment to excellence, is evidenced in their Attorney Profiles on this website. In addition to professional expertise, we have also built our law firm on certain values.
Attorney and Client Communication. We work hard to bring the highest level of client service to our practice. We are accessible and responsive. We have built our practice, in no small part, on our commitment to return our clients’ telephone calls and respond to their emails promptly. We believe that we can achieve the best results for clients who are educated about the issues involved in their matters, and who are informed by us at every step.
Efficiency and Efficacy. We are highly efficient and, simultaneously, highly effective. When a client chooses to work with an LGP attorney, it is that attorney who will work on the client’s case. However, clients benefit from the expertise of all attorneys at LGP. We are truly a team, each attorney here working with the others to achieve the best result for our clients.
Community Involvement. We have been actively involved in organizations such as the Community Development Corporation of the Southern Berkshires (affordable housing), the Alford Land Trust, the Sheffield Land Trust, Great Barrington Rotary Club, the Town of Alford (Planning Board Member); BerkShares (a local currency movement), The Trustees of Reservations (a Massachusetts land conservation organization), Fairview Hospital, the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood, Hudson Valley Fresh (a dairy cooperative), and the Department of Children and Families (foster care reviews).
